About
Jonathan completed his undergraduate medical training at the in South Africa. Following basic surgical training in the UK, he undertook specialist training in Birmingham, UK. He then underwent dedicated training in vascular and non-vascular interventional radiology in Birmingham. He completed his radiology training in 2010 and worked as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist at the University Hospitals Birmingham from 2010 to 2020. 

In addition to Interventional Radiology, Jonathan served as a principal uroradiologist on the UHB uro-oncology multidisciplinary team and lead radiologist for the Birmingham Prostate Clinic multidisciplinary team.

In 2020 he moved to the Hawke's Bay to take up a post with Te Whatu Ora Te Matau o Māui Hawke’s Bay and pursue the New Zealand dream. He provides broad interventional radiology services and general diagnostic radiology services with a particular interest in prostate MRI. He joined Canopy Imaging in 2022.
