 About

Dr Arif Syed was born in the Kashmir Valley and completed his medical education in India before moving to the United Kingdom to pursue a career in radiology. He undertook his radiology training in the UK and completed a dedicated Musculoskeletal Fellowship at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, London, in 2012.

He is now an experienced Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist with over a decade of post CCT practice at a major UK university teaching hospital. His clinical work covers all aspects of musculoskeletal imaging including MRI, CT, ultrasound and radiography, alongside advanced image guided procedures such as CT guided spinal injections, nerve root blocks, and bone and soft tissue biopsies. He has a particular interest in sarcoma imaging and sports related musculoskeletal injuries.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Syed has been closely involved in radiology education and training. He previously served as Training Programme Director for one of the largest radiology training schemes in the UK and as Royal College Clinical Tutor, contributing to curriculum development and trainee supervision.
